Patio Cleaning across Ryedale

Make your patio a place you want to spend time in again.

Patio Cleaning

Patios quickly pick up green algae, moss and dirt, especially in shaded or damp gardens. A proper clean can reveal the colour underneath and make the space feel looked after again.

We check the type of paving first and take extra care with natural stone, loose pointing and damaged slabs.

WillPower Washing cleans patios throughout Ryedale, with the method adjusted for concrete paving, natural stone and the condition of the joints.

What we can clean

  • Concrete paving slabs
  • Many natural-stone patios
  • Garden paths and steps
  • Paved seating and entertaining areas

What it can remove

  • Green algae and moss
  • Embedded garden dirt
  • Weather staining
  • Some surface lichen and black spotting

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Check the paving

We work out what the paving is made from and look for loose pointing, cracks or damaged slabs.

  2. Step 2

    Look at the marks

Black spots, rust and oil may need more than pressure washing, so we flag them early.

  3. Step 3

    Clean with care

We adjust the pressure and distance to suit the paving rather than using one setting everywhere.

  4. Step 4

    Check the finish

We look over the patio with you and explain any marks or joints that still need attention.

Common patio cleaning questions

Is pressure washing safe for Indian sandstone?

It can be, but sandstone needs a lighter touch. Too much pressure can mark the stone or disturb the joints.

Will cleaning remove black spots?

It should improve them, but deep-rooted lichen may need a separate treatment and may not disappear in one clean.

Do I need to move the furniture?

Yes, the patio should be clear before we start. If something is too heavy, mention it when booking.
